Call Me Ceilidh at The Canteen
See event details

A gig held at The Canteen on Thursday 25th April. The event starts at 21:30.

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind, inclusive ceilidh experience! Bristol-based Call Me Ceilidh is here to shake up tradition and create the perfect night out.

We blend traditional tunes with pop and house music for the ultimate high-energy gathering. Imagine dancing Strip The Willow to Skrillex's Bangarang with MacArthur Road or The Dashing White Sergeant to Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habit’s and Otter’s Holt – you'll be singing along as you dance to the ultimate remix.

Designed as a gateway for ceilidh newcomers and a refreshing experience for seasoned dancers, Call Me Ceilidh promises an evening of sweat, song, dance, and camaraderie. Step onto the dance floor of this fully organised, fun, and safe space where prior experience is unnecessary – just bring your enthusiasm and prepare to meet new friends along the way!

Expect ceilidh dances interspersed with house, disco, and world music, leaving plenty of room for freestyling too! This one-woman show features the multi-talented Georgia Lewis as founder, DJ, Caller, and MC.

Call Me Ceilidh offers various lineups, band sizes, and packages for private hire. Visit www.callmeceilidh.co.uk for more information.

Join us on Thursday April 25th at the Canteen for an unforgettable event. Admission is FREE, so spread the word, bring your friends, and let's make new memories together!
