Singing bassist Taylor Smith pulled the Roamin’ Jasmine sextet together as a street band in the French quarter of the Big Easy.
He aimed to bring the classic Dixieland style of group improvisation to an eclectic set list of vintage blues, Calypso and R’n’B numbers, as well as writing a few old-time things himself. What started on the street corners of New Orleans is now ready to take on the world and that means us, folks.
