Andrew ‘Steeny’ Steen and Dan Everett, the two primary songwriters in Polly & the Billet Doux have been touring as a duet playing a combination of Billets Doux songs and their own solo work.
Dan’s is currently recording a follow up album to Fragments ready for release this autumn. After nearly two decades on the road together, Everett and Steen can capture audiences in small folk clubs and rowdy clubs. They are a tour-de-force of bluegrass harmonies and intricate acoustic guitar with driving double bass. They sound like John Martyn, Little Richard and Joni Mitchell stirred up with of kilter country/folk that the Billets Doux are known for.
