See event details

A gig held at The Canteen on Wednesday 15th September. The event starts at 22:00.

FREE ENTRY

Bethany Roberts and Rowan Elliott explore the fertile space between their main projects: respectively Hands of the Heron‘s choral songcraft and Solana‘s progressive instrumental compositions. Bethany’s intricate banjo patterns interlace with Rowan’s polyphonic string soundscapes to frame image-rich poetry and cascading vocal lines. Their track 'Brambles' featured in 2020 lockdown documentary FROM THE COOP, and they are currently preparing to record their debut album, which will be released next year on Cuculi Records.
