Now established as one of the UK’s favourite dance big bands, Big R are facilitators of SWING.

Led from the front by Bristol's best dressed drummer, Richie Paradise, the 16 piece band have a great eye for dance charts and will keep the dance floor busy, reading the crowd and adapting sets as necessary.

So if you’re a lunatic for Lindy, go soft for Shag, bellow for Balboa, desperate for some Duke, or begging for Basie, Big R have got you covered.

Dashing, debonair, dandy and dapper, the classic swing tunes of the 30's and 40's are sounding, and looking, pretty damn good.

First formed in 2010, a band with far too many Richards than is healthy (hence Big R Big Band), discovered a shared love of playing classic Big Band music, in particular the swing music of the 30's and 40's. Now well established across the country as one of the best swing dance big bands you can hear the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, and many many more.
