held at The Croft
on Saturday 1st November. The event starts at 23:00.
We'll be rounding off Halloween weekend in the very capable hands of Taipan Trax - a label dedicated to dark, hard and fast sounds across the entire dance music spectrum. Taipan Trax head honcho Phasmid has invited down two stand out names from the label to mark the occasion - expect all things electro, breaks, footwork + more!
Phasmid has garnered a fierce reputation for unique, hard hitting productions in recent years. An eclectic DJ & producer of breakbeat, electro, and trance amongst a wide range of other sounds, he has become known for his distinctively clean-cut, bass-led signature sound - both in his own tracks and that of his label Taipan Trax. Phasmid has become a staple of the UK circuit, demonstrating sharp, stand out sets up and down the country. With a wide array European performances under his belt and an extensive international tour across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, Phasmid has firmly imprinted his sound upon the scene both at home and abroad.
Bristol based DJ and producer K-65 is known for subby basslines and cutting breaks across multiple tempos. More recently incorporating heavy influence from the dark underground world of electro, his productions now fuse acid, wubs and 808s with whipping snares and rolling breaks. Aiming to make hard hitting tracks for the UK’s dance floors, his productions strive to be high in energy and dark in flavour.
Muna is a Bristol based DJ/producer specialising in UKG, Breaks, Footwork and more. Expect weighty, funky tunes ranging from jazzy garage to pure hype booty bass bangers, often with a bit of silliness thrown in.
