A gig held at The Croft on Thursday 2nd December. The event starts at 19:00.

9.30pm - Freddie Lewis

Freddie Lewis is a poet, songwriter, and performer writing his way through his experiences as a young trans person. He released his debut body of work 'Lilac Underpass Mixtape' and accompanying poetry collection at the end of October and received support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music and Phil Taggart's Chill Da Beats podcast. Spoken-word sections and catchy hook melodies punctuate his unique brand of bedroom-pop, which takes influence from indie soul, acoustic folk, and all Freddie’s favorite poets.

8.40pm - Jodie Mellor

Stripping down the frilly world of pop to its bare bones is Bristol-based singer-songwriter, Jodie Mellor. Her raw vocals and honest tales are refreshing of a new, feel-good age, with hints of genre nostalgia. Taking Influence from Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, and Katie Melua, Jodie calls upon her diverse vocal tones and musical maturity to portray the highs and lows of life.

8.00pm - Charlie T Smith

Bristol-based but born and raised in South West France, Charlie T Smith combines warm vocals, catchy melodies, and interesting vocal splicing, taking him far beyond the conventional acoustic act. Hailing from a family of professional musicians, Charlie found himself performing at his father's gigs from the age of three, and returned to his roots last year with the release of his debut self-produced EP 'Held Up'. Charlie pays homage to a blend of influences, including Lauv, John Mayer, and Lewis Capaldi.

7.30pm - Nory-J

Nory-J is the indie-pop pseudonym of former Bath phenomenon Jack Spooner. Band turned solo croc pot, his artistry found itself with BBC Radio Bristol, international reviewers and throughout NEXT and Marks and Spencer stores across the UK.

Tickets: £7 adv / £10 on the door
