MOZES AND THE FIRSTBORN BIO:
Hailing from'Eindhoven' in the Netherlands'Mozes and the Firstborn' create a potent variant on garage rock, which delivers daredevil garage pop, catchy surf moments and scratchy guitar riffs.
'Mozes and the Firstborn' were formed in 2010 by vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter'Melle Dielesen', with'Corto Blommaert' on bass and'Raven Aartsen' on drums.
The band made their debut performance at a house party celebrating Dielesen's 21st birthday. They then continued to play on the local scene and wasn't long before they started to receive a lot of attention from all the major Dutch record labels. Despite this, they decided not to sign any record contracts, as they wanted to produce their first release themselves so, they built their own studio at Dielesen's home and then quit their side jobs to focus solely on practicing and creating new songs.
'Mozes and the Firstborn' would later go on to tour the globe and also support the likes of Two Gallants, The Growlers and FIDLAR.
In 2011 the band's first EP'I Got Skills' was released and saw the title track became a favourite with their fans. A year and a half later, guitarist'Ernst-Jan van Doorn' was added as the fourth member and consequently the band reached its final and definite state.
2013 saw'Mozes and the Firstborn' sign with Dutch Indie label'TopNotch Records', who released a single featuring a new recording of the song'I Got Skills'. The band then went to work on their debut album.
2014 saw the release of a self-titled debut album, which was produced by'Michel Schoots' of'Urban Dance Squad' and was (like earlier releases) recorded in Dielesen's studio.
On the debut LP, 'Mozes and the Firstborn' combine the bravado and stamina of the young'Rolling Stones' and the ramshackle sleaziness of the'Black Lips' and the'Strange Boys', with strong songwriting by the likes of'Guided by Voices' and'Ty Segall'. All these ingredients culminate into a genre the band themselves define as'garage-pop'.
The album was well received and earned the band an international recognition including that of respected California-based Indie label'Burger Records' who released the album in the United States in February 2014.
Talent abundant, energy by the bagful and the skills to make it through your doorway, Mozes and the Firstborn is a party and everyone's invited!!!

Named after a joyous casino win the'Orphelins' are a Bristol based Alternative Rock band who formed in late 2014. They consist of lead singer'Ashley Jackson', lead guitarist'Damon Lisseman', bassist'George Hicks' and drummer'Sean Wilkins'.
Despite their relatively short history, the'Orphelins' have developed a truly stellar live show and are already gaining a strong reputation for their ability to create catchy riff-driven tracks.
In June 2015 the'Orphelins' self-released their debut EP'We Are Orphelins' and launched it by headlining at Bristol's famous venue'The Louisiana'.
