The son of two accomplished Jazz musicians, Billy Magerison is a singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist, who honed his craft in and around South London, Bristol and the South West playing a mix of blues, reggae and soul. Taking inspiration from these along with elements of his Celtic heritage, he has developed his own unique sound. Tight grooves, soulful vocals and experimental effects bordering on the psychedelic.

Billy’s debut releases have received critical acclaim and have been made track of the week multiple times on BBC Radio Bristol, Introducing in the west and in the last year his content online has amassed over one hundred and fifty thousand views. Armed with nothing but his guitar, Billy decided to take time to share some of the more personal songs he has been writing.

His debut E.P, “Be Cool” is a collection of three unique songs charting the highs and lows of his experiences during lockdown, which features themes of love, mental health and self-realisation. With this release under his belt and plenty more in the works, Magerison is looking to hit the road touring his original music this summer.
