A
gig
held at The Croft
on Tuesday 13th September. The event starts at 20:00.
Heavily influenced by fellow Texan Townes Van Zandt alongside the likes of Steve Earle, Guy Clarke and Roger Miller, the “East Texan troubadour is making some of the finest, rawest country sounds of recent years” (Uncut).
Where Emerson’s 2019 debut album ‘Fried Chicken and Evil Women’ offered lighter, more tongue-in-cheek tones, his self-titled follow up sees him lean into a darker, starker sound.
“The influence and spirit of Van Zandt permeates Emerson’s new album” (Rolling Stone) as he confronts heavier and deeply personal subject matter.
This event, originally taking place on Sun 13 Mar, is rescheduled and will now take place on Tue 13 Sep.
All tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date.
