CLATTERS EVENTS PRESENTS... An Evening with Interim at The Croft

A gig held at The Croft on Tuesday 29th September. The event starts at 19:15.

CALLING ALL FANS OF INDIE, EXPERIMENTAL AND PSYCHEDELIA! Bristol based experimental psychedelia band Interim will be making their way to the Croft to perform a mind bending hour long set with support from Bristol legends Traitors and Calder Baxter!

THE HEADLINER:

Interim are a five-piece modern package of 70s psychedelic rock straight out of Bristol. Rather than revivalism, Interim treat psychedelic rock as a living form—structured, disciplined, and cinematic. Inspired by the likes of King Crimson and Pink Floyd, Interim are driven to continue the mind-bending soundscapes of the golden era of music by delivering sets compromising of soaring guitar work and entrancing rhythms.

The band crafts immersive, long-form sets built to be cohesive and textural. They build momentum rather than nostalgia.

THE SUPPORTS:

Traitors are a duo blending Garage Rock and Psychedelia to create riff and rhythm driven sounds. Alex Stone and Gabe Davy, an explosive frontman and a powerhouse drummer can produce such a full sound that they are often mistaken for a larger group. Electric on stage performance that will make you thrust yourself in all directions.

Calder Baxter is a grassroots musician from Bristol coming up with his bright and fresh indie-pop sound. Calder doesn’t want to be confined to a formulaic indie-rock style, he seeks connection between himself and his audience and longs to truly be heard by telling authentic human stories that convey his perception of love, loss, helplessness, empathy and truth. All inspired by both his lived experiences and true stories from strangers. He draws heavily from Sam Fender, Olivia Dean and Jeff Buckley, and was originally inspired by George Michael for his vulnerability, Stevie Wonder for his musical prowess and Neil Sedaka for his operatic voice. His sound is a pleasing blend spanning from anthemic indie-rock, catchy indiepop and heart felt ballads that always strive to display his honesty and raw emotion through his lyrics and his voice.
