Manchester's Minimum Wage Immanence Unit comprises Adam Fairhall on accordion/harmonium, David Birchall on guitar/banjo and Michael Perrett on bass clarinet.

They improvise music that draws as much on English folk song as it does the timbral integrations of European spectralism and the free drone excursions of Pelt.

Luigi Marino is a Bristol-based musician whose work explores emergent phenomena involving people, objects, and whatever lies in between their shifting definitions.

An active improviser, he performs on electronic media and percussion, focusing on the zarb, the computer as an instrument mediating human decision-making, and custom cymbals played with bows and extended through DIY portable circuits.

Hé, Shuǐqīngqīng (何水清清) is a gǔzhēng (traditional Chinese zither) performer and musicologist whose work explores transcultural musical practices.

She is committed to developing new repertoire and collaborative performance practices that bring together Chinese and Western musical traditions as a founding member of SHUIMO Ensemble. Through close partnerships with composers, SHUIMO explores innovative approaches to intercultural music-making, creating new artistic possibilities beyond conventional aesthetic boundaries.

Laura Phillips is a naive instrumentalist who plays infrequently, most notably with Bristol-based improvisation groups Viridian Ensemble and, on one occasion, Improv's Greatest Hits!

Her waterphone playing has appeared on releases by Viridian EnsembleFree Nelson Doom Jazz, a tape on Ceramic Label featuring Copper Sounds, and in broadcasts for Radiophrenia Festival. Much of her practice is rooted in visual music, deep listening & proto cinema; with a sample from her 16mm projector featuring on the latest Hen Ogled release.

Improviser & composer Oliver Brouwer focuses on moving with the freedom of continuous music, giving awareness to deepen and develop a way of playing and listening with dedicated attention.

Over the last decade he has written and recorded six collections of solo piano works - with each shared, an ever changing expression and response to a personal experience of memory and time, stillness and movement.
