A gig held at The Cube on Friday 13th March. The event starts at 19:30.

Bottom up culture, as static on dust particles, accumulates invisibly beneath the sheet of conformity — releasing itself through collision and separation, in not fully predictable ways. Music to Come, Arsider, Misto Mame, Siamo Solo Noise and the Cube Microplex present “Like Static in the Dust”: two days of screenings and live sound and music, mapping the connections between underground collectives practicing autonomy and cultural self-production, beyond the circuits of the mainstream. ...DAY 1 - Friday 13th March - from 7pm till late! Day one is dedicated to screenings and live A/V, starting with an unreleased collage from collective video archives: the Turin squat movement from the late 90s until today — a kinetic survey of whimsical situationism, DIY camouflage, resistance and collision with the state of things, showcasing autonomy as a vital necessity... - Clinamen: pirates against the great void - a film by Osservatorio per l’Oblio Industriale Not merely a documentary but a semiotic excavation into the cold, industrial heart of Turin in search of that "swerve”. Through a feverish montage of unreleased archives we dive in the sweat-drenched kineticism of the city’s squatters movement through the 90s and 2000s, as a radical dissent against the "contactless violence" of our era via the organic residue of the riot, the ritual, and the encounter. A tactical refusal to be mapped, the proof that not every history is written in ink, but carved into the very skin of the concrete. - guest - performs with the Pattern Organ An optical synthesiser of sound from patterns of light and dark creating ever-evolving and interactive audiovisual experience. - Infinite Spirit Music - fearless across concrete DJ set Celebrated Bristol head Lionel Lamadon fearlessly quests along the boundaries of experimental music, from spoken word, sound poetry, concrete music to noise, industrial, electronica. - Jumble Sail x Craxi Driver - absurdists A/V manipulation meets retro-technologic video-acoustic sabotage VHS, Video8, paper collage and circuit bent feedback mixers de-generate in an unstable glitch continuum with processed images birthed just to be suddenly destroyed. A tribute to limbic visual memories, flickering through the static of constantly degraded signals. - Speed Archer - non-verbal TV remix Rolagsky processed films where the background noise volume of the body speaking is turned up: pauses, stutters and vocal ticks hidden in a world obscured by words, are the reactive tokens that make the stories become less specific and more universal. - La Grande Triple Alliance Internationale de L’Est - a film by N.Drolc & G.Marietta A shape-shifting, faceless, puny and paranoid organism, la Grande Triple Alliance Internationale de l'Est doesn't exist. In the early 2000s, a powerful flux of poisonous hermaphroditic cells was first spotted in the French cities of Metz and Strasbourg, before infecting large delimited areas of the western and eastern web. A bad taste joke, ephemeral in its core, rigorously immortal. Food provided by chef Peter and Snoozie Artwork by arcadepare Entry requirements: 18+
