✴಄ For the opening night of the first Bristol Experimental Puppet Festival, a puppet cabaret to delight, disgust and dance all about, as objects transmute reality until the inanimate writhes uncontrollably through the cosmos ಄✴

Featuring performances from :
✴ PONCILI CREACION ✴ BEANPIG PUPPETS ✴ JUICE NAZNAZ ✴ VOMITON ✴ &MORE

Poncili Creación ✴ (@poncilicreacion) is an art collective from San Juan, Puerto Rico, led by identical twin brothers Pablo and Efraín Del Hierro. Founded in 2012, the duo’s practice fuses puppetry, performance, sculpture, sound, and improvised storytelling to create immersive, communal experiences. Poncili Creación constructs fantastical, large-scale objects and wearable sculptures — often from salvaged polyurethane foam and found materials — which are animated through movement, dance, live music, and participatory performance.

Beanpig Puppetry ✴ (@beanpigpuppets) is a queer puppetry collective that believes in the life of all things! They believe in the possibility of other worlds that are in a constant state of transformation, destruction and creation. By bringing objects to life they ask you to dream beyond what you thought was possible, and to break the boundaries of real/not real. They believe that anything can come to life, anything can transform and anything is possible if it’s made out of cardboard and foam.

JUICE NAZNAZ ✴ (@Juicenaznaz) is a Gloucester multi media creative with a focus nature inspired art and performance. Juice a mixed media performer, creating her own costumes, music as DJ Tropical Juice, Queer Life Drawing, Zine Making, crafty themed events, festivals and workshops across the UK, providing safe spaces for queer communities to creatively explore the world with curiosity, share, be and live as art. Often crafting in all kinds of mediums but drawing attention to themes such as cultural exploration, magical imaginary worlds and Utopias, sustainability, queerness, abstract portraiture or exploring landscapes through paintings and exhibitions.
