Just over the border in Mexico is an area peppered with maquiladoras: massive factories owned by the world's largest multinational corporations. Armed with video cameras, Carmen and Lourdes and others like them promotoras who confront the social and environmental abuses of this new corporate order are not the pliant female employees the companies anticipated.
Doors 19.30 for 8pm start. £5/£4 OTD, no one turned away due to lack of funds. As always there will be a discussion to follow - lets make it as good as November's!
