A event held at The Cube on Saturday 10th October. The event starts at 18:30.
*This is a STRICTLY 18+ event*
Art comes in many forms and we’re here to bring the filthiest to the forefront. Erotic art by queer, sex worker creatives is often hidden, so in this evening long celebration we have curated films from local, national and international creators and collectives. We are focussing on unique, authentic, wild and wonderful short films. The work is predominantly made by queer sex workers, as we wanted a space to platform the type of art that is increasingly more censored.
The evening will be hosted by local pornographers and professional perverts Maya Poison and Pixie Sin, who are part of the Bristol Sex Workers Collective. There will be a panel moderated by our hosts with some of the featured film makers and lived experience experts, where audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions about the work they’ve seen. As well as this, we will be giving out some filthy trophies for our favourite films, made by local pottery princess Bunny Royle aka Clay Daddy.
We are being graciously being hosted by the Cube Cinema which is an Arts venue, independent museum, and progressive social wellbeing enterprise in Central Bristol.
Our event is pro sex worker, LGBTQIA+ and all other marginalised communities. Any bigotry and xenophobia at all will not be tolerated. We aim to be as accessible as possible, however the Cube is unfortunately unable to support wheelchair users. If you have any access needs that we can support you with please email us at [email protected]
