The Quantum Horse is a wickedly entertaining all-ages live show.
All kinds of affordable tickets plus lots of larks & gases, science & daftness, songs & adventure. A show full of horses, lovely cinema projectors, cleaning robots plus Auntie Matter and many more juicy characters.
8 shows this February - 2nd / 3rd / 4th & 5th then 9th / 10th / 11th and 12th. Matinees on the Saturday and Sundays.
The Quantum Horse is an original & adventurous 21st century fairy tale pantomime born out of a collaboration between the artist Ergo Phizmiz & The Cube Microplex Work Force with all kinds of special guests of course.
The Quantum Horse story is action packed. Once upon a time a panto horse splits in two & goes on the run. What happens next is a thrilling & comical chase through space and time. A story of being multiple & being together. It's a show that reflects on the long traditions of pantomime whilst attempting to breathe new (h)airs & graces into the medium.

Question: Who is 'The Quantum Horse' show for?
Panto Horse: Its an all-ages show. 8 shows incl 2 matinees. For all peoples & futurist families. We are making tickets as cheap as possible. They start from £6. Neigh.
Q: When is this community extravaganza?
PH: Early February 2023. Feb is is the new Xmas and New Year btw. Buy some tickets as a Xmas present. Stare into my beautiful hazel eyes.
Q: What will it be like and who is in it?
PH: Rousing, epic and a giggle. There will be music & science, interaction & illusions, satire & fantasy. Expect plenty of community actions & wild solos from trained actors & the Cube workforce + special guest slots from radical and caring people each night. Give us a stroke will you.
Q: Why are you doing this, it's not normal Cube behaviour!
PH:To make light in times of darkness. To create a new fairy tale, inspired by contemporary developments in the magical world of quantum science, that goes back to the roots of pantomime through archaic performance techniques and stagecraft, with original songs, and a humour that is joyous, absurd and inclusive. Giddy up humans.

PH: Sure! You can buy a ticket, donate extra funds to help support it & if you want volunteer to be part of the production contact [email protected] for more details. Carrot please.
With variety & magic in mind The Quantum Horse is also open to participation – stage hands, leg work, producers, actors, prop people, social meds help etc!!. All we ask is your attention, commitment & willingness to big up the people, animals & the spirit. Roles will be voluntary but some might be paid. Be in touch - [email protected]
Extra info: From its roots in Roman comedy and through the Commedia dell Arte, the English clowning traditions of Grimaldi, the Music Hall, and its contemporary incarnation as centrepiece of the festive season, the medium of pantomime has at its centre the notion of a party, a unifying experience, a celebration. With this in mind, the Cube pantomime would be a totally contemporary work. Come see The Quantum Horse, get giddy.
