Comedy Combo is a monthly night of cult or classic comedy films and live stand up at the Cube Cinema. This time we're screening Beetlejuice.
Barbara and Adam Maitland are a happily married and recently deceased couple. When their home is sold to obnoxious yuppies Charles & Delia Deetz, and renovations led by interior designer/occultist Otho begin, the sweet-natured Maitlands are forced to seek the services of"bio-Exorcist" Beetlejuice. Unfortunately for them, he has designs of his own - on the Deetzes teenage daughter Lydia.
We present Tim Burton's cult classic, preceded by live stand up from six comedians, Joshua Sadler, Joe Sutherland, Hannah Horan, Wayne Beese, Luke Smith and Mia Lane, with your host Alice Matthews. As ever we'll have some special surprises for you - try not to lose your head.
Costume-clad attendance is highly encouraged, and rewarded.
