WIDT - An audiovisual collaboration between Warsaw based sisters Antonina Nowacka (voice/processing) and Bogumila Piotrowska (live visuals). Oneiric visions built up via abstract, operatic vocalisations which augment intensely psychedelic, flowing visuals, created real time using complex forms of video feedback. Merging concert, performance, installation and video art.

The duo have released two audiovisual albums: POINT#3 VHS (2015, Pointless Geometry) and WIDT cd/dvd (2016, Zoharum) and have collaborated with Berlin producer Christoph De Babalon to create the ‘Teyas’ LP (2018, Bocian).

WIDT have performed at many of Europe’s notable avant-garde music festivals including Unsound (Krakow), UH Festival (Budapest), KRAAK (Brussels), Counterflows (Glasgow), Unsafe + Sounds (Vienna) and Easterndaze x Berlin with appearances alongside Hermann Nitsch, Guttersnipe, Richard Dawson, Vibracathedral Orchestra, Yeah You, Secluded Bronte, Charlemagne Palestine, David Behrman, Księżyc, Pierre Bastien, Sue Tompkins, Benedict Drew.

They have completed two much talked about short tours of the UK in 2016 and 2017 and have appeared at Cafe Oto on three occasions. Their performance at the Cube Cinema will be their first appearance in Bristol.

Plus DJ Cacophonous Sarcophagus and DJ Marry Banilow (1/2 Copper Sounds & Dance Party) in the bar until late.
