Steve Martin co-wrote and stars in this classic sci-fi comedy from 1983. After the pioneering neurosurgeon Dr Michael Hfuhruhurr (Martin) marries Kathleen Turner's femme fatale he discovers her true nature, and the love triangle is completed when he encounters the disembodied brain of Anne Uumellmahaye (an uncredited Sissy Spacek) in a jar. How will the man with two brains, but only one heart, resolve his m nage trois? And just who is the Elevator Killer anyway?
With stand up from:
Evelyn Mok - Sharp, beautifully original observations. Evelyn was a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Awards 2013, and finished third in the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Award 2014.
Ross Brierley - High-energy surrealism from Leeds's favourite son. Ross was winner of Hot Water Comedy's Comedian of the Year in 2014.
Russ Mulligan - Absurdist fun from Birmingham New Comedian of the Year 2013.
Micky Baker - With his roots in Bristol's improv scene, Micky's unpredictable style marks him out as a risk-taker capable of delivering comedy alchemy.
Alice Matthews - A chance to see our frequent host and BBC Radio New Comedy Award 2014-shortlisted perform her stand-up.
James Stokes - 70% clown, 30% surreal, 25% post-comedy deconstruction and a quarter slapstick. Funny.
Ringmaster for the night will be the surreal star of Bristol improvised soap-opera"Closer Each Day", and all-round friend of the Cube, Duffy.
