Bristol Radical Film Festival 2026 - Precarity double bill at The Cube

An event held at The Cube on Saturday 7th November. The event starts at 14:00.


The films are presented with funding by the British Academy- CNRS Knowledge Frontiers Symposium. Both films will be introduced by Dr. Mihika Chatterjee and their will be a Q&A and conversation led by her afterwards.

PLEASE NOTE. The two films are not screened consecutively to give you time to have some refreshments.

Homebound is based on a famous article published at the high of the pandemic in The New York Times, the film explores structural precarity were cast, religion, class and economic pressures define and limit the lives of the two protagonists.
Two Days, One Night. This is our reality today. Workers pitted against workers just to survive. Neoliberalism has normalised precarity, eroded workers solidarity. The Dardenne brothers’ concern is to explore how does precarity feels like.
