Lorenzo Abbatoir; En Creux; Simon Whetham at The Cube

A gig held at The Cube on Sunday 30th July. The event starts at 19:00.

Bringing you three singular takes on the avant garde across a wide range of outer expressionism.

The acts are:

Lorenzo Abattoir (vocals/sound poetry)

"A sound artist based in Toronto, Abbattoir uses the microphone as instrument to explore a cross between spiritual practise and audio processing that utilises breathing, body noise and amplified objects"

En Creux (no input feedback/vocals)

"En Creux is a Taiwanese reductionist electronic musician based in London. Using a variety of no-input techniques, she creates analogue noise that always straddles perpetual chaos and fleeting beauty"

Simon Whetham (motor devices)

"Simon Whetham is a multi-disciplinary artist whose live performances blur the lines between object and instrument. Using a variety of motor-powered devices Whetham manages to wring obscure and transcendent sound out of the mundane"

£7 or £5 unwaged/consessions. No one turned away for lack of funds
