This screening will be followed by a comedy set by one of the comedians featured in the film.

This feature-length documentary follows six Palestinian stand-up comedians as they cross borders and military checkpoints, as well as cultural fault-lines, to bring comedy to packed audiences in Palestine - and later to stages abroad. Along the way, they navigate the personal and political tensions of telling jokes in a time of war and displacement, and reflect on what it means to make people laugh when laughter itself becomes a form of resistance.

Part of Bristol Palestine Film Festival 2025.
