Cinema of Imagination: Fairytales for Grown-ups at The Cube

A event held at The Cube on Thursday 10th January. The event starts at 20:00.

UNCAGED & THE WHITE BEAR KING
by Michael Harvey & Sally Pomme Clayton

A DOUBLE-BILL OF PERFORMANCE STORYTELLING

On one hand, a princess marries a bear, who comes to her bed each night as a man. On the other, a wild man in a cage is holding the exact thing you've been looking for, and you don't have the key...

Enter a wild haven of fairytales for grown-ups - dark, magical & full-blooded by turn, and filled with stolen children, cross-dressing, seduction, glass mountains, trolls, trickery, and epic transformations.

These stories come from a place where everyday life and the fantastic collide – somewhere simultaneously earthy, ethereal and real - and only those who listen know what they mean. Hold on to your hats - this one's going to be a corker!

TICKETS: £10 adv /£12 on the door (£1 cube membership payable on the door)

SUITABLE: adults (14+)
