Described as possessing 'multi-dimensional gifts, imagination and fearless artistic sensibility' by Acoustic Guitar Magazine, Laura Snowden is a classical guitarist whose compositions and arrangements have struck a chord with listeners for their emotive and storytelling qualities. Having studied with legendary guitarist Julian Bream, Laura has since gone on to forge her own creative path, performing her individual programmes all over the world.
Laura’s compositions and arrangements have been played by artists including Sean Shibe, Alexandra Whittingham and the Ligeti Quartet, and performed at the Wigmore Hall and Royal Albert Hall. Her recent composition The Memory Garden received multiple broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, including being the Playlist Starter on the Essential Classics show.
Laura's eclectic repertoire comprises classical, folk and contemporary music, with storytelling at its heart. Her programme will feature classical works alongside her own evocative compositions, unique vocalisations and Celtic folk arrangements.
The Cube is excited to welcome this very special artist as part of her debut album launch tour.
Support comes from A.L. Lacey, a classically trained pianist and vocalist renowned for her multi-faceted vocal arrangements and post-modern piano compositions.
