Cancer Bats at The Fleece

A gig held at The Fleece on Tuesday 20th October. The event starts at 19:00.

Canadian hardcore heavyweights, CANCER BATS, are back for the first time in more than four-years as themselves (not including their Bat Sab alter egos), to headline The Fleece. For more than 20-years, the whiskey metal punks have delivered uncompromising intensity. They have toured relentlessly, released seven-studio albums – six of which earned Juno nominations (Canada Grammy equivalent) – and built a legacy on raw, sweat-soaked, unforgettable live performances.

Their success spans multiple continents, but the UK in particular has become of stronghold for the band with coverage in the likes of Kerrang! and Metal Hammer, regular airplay across BBC Radio 1 and appearances at major festivals including Download, Reading & Leeds and Slam Dunk. Two decades in, they have honed their craft to masterful levels and are nowhere near slowing down. If anything, the road warriors are pushing harder than ever. The band’s latest full length, ‘Give Me Dirt’, was recorded at God City Studios with Kurt Balou (Converge, High On Fire, Every Time I Die) and will be released on August 7th on Marshall Records – you can check out the first single now; ’Stay Stuck’.

Join us on Oct 20th and celebrate 20-years of one of the very best to ever do it! All hail Cancer Bats.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
