A gig held at Bristol Folk House on Friday 2nd December. The event starts at 19:30pm.

After a recent appearance at the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Bristol Troubadour at St Georges in Bristol, Steve Tilston returns to play a headline gig at the Bristol Folk House on December 2nd.

Award winning singer-songwriter Steve Tilston returns to Bristol, the city that for many reasons has played a major part in his life. It was here that Steve recorded his first album An Acoustic Confusion on the fledgling Village Thing label; he wrote some of his best-loved songs whilst living in the city and it’s 15th century Bristol that provides much of the backdrop for his debut novel All for Poor Jack.

Perhaps best known for his song-writing prowess, Steve is also a blinding, dazzling guitarist drawing from folk, blues, jazz and classical to create a sound that has been called quintessentially Tilston. Flesh all that out with Bristol music scene stalwart and old pal, harmonica maestro Keith Warmington and Yorkshire pal Hugh Bradley on double bass and you can expect something very special indeed.
