This symposium will bring together presentations from contemporary women, non-binary, and trans artists and researchers who are exploring the possibilities of alternative photographic processes. This symposium considers how contemporary practitioners are using innovative and unique approaches to photography to explore the possibilities of light sensitive materials. This half day symposium aims to connect artists, researchers, curators, and arts practitioners to reflect on the different ways in which alternative photographic processes can explore concepts that inspire women, non-binary, and trans artists.
