Bristol Solidarity Cafe presents a community screening of 'Earth's Greatest Enemy', an anti-imperialist documentary revealing the environmental cost of military empire. As imperialist wars intensify and global warming accelerates, confronting their shared causes is more urgent than ever.
The film will be followed by an interactive panel discussion exploring its key themes in relation to our current moment and local context. Panellists to be announced soon!
Our event will offer a welcoming space to share refreshments and conversation, and to connect with each other during a time when many are feeling the weight of ongoing wars and environmental destruction.
This event is a mutual aid fundraiser for a local direct action activist. All ticket sales and funds raised will contribute toward their legal fees. There will be an opportunity to buy drinks, baked goods and other items at our fundraising stand. Please bring cash and donate generously if you are able.
Our event is kindly being hosted by Bristol Folk House, an adult education centre dedicated to upskilling and empowering people across the community.
