Emma Miller at Bristol Folk House

A gig held at Bristol Folk House on Wednesday 18th March. The event starts at 20:00.

Join us on Wednesday, March 18th for an intimate evening of beautiful music with Scottish singer-songwriter Emma Miller.

The songstress has long been touted for her spellbinding voice and poignant lyricism. Her music is relational, real and deeply layered. Originally from just above the Highlands in north east Scotland, there’s a subtle Celtic inflection in her tone and delivery that only adds to the depth of her songwriting.

With influences ranging from teenage years listening to Imogen Heap and Joni Mitchell to discovering voices like Kate Bush, Annie Lennox and Sarah McLachlan, it’s Miller’s unique blend of powerful melodies, deeply personal songwriting and crystal clear, bell-like vocals that make her a truly captivating artist and performer. Cult magazine CLASH noting "her folk-hewn work has blossomed into something remarkable” and BBC 6 Music's Tom Robinson proclaiming her vocals as "rich as a Belgium truffle”.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
