BLACK HISTORY MONTH — BRISTOL 

This October, we’re going head, shoulders, knees and toes into a month-long celebration of Bristol’s incredible DJ culture, with a little love reaching beyond the city too.

Five Fridays. Five different line-ups. One dancefloor.

Expect everything from Afro House, Chicago, Disco, Soul, Funk and R&B cuts to the sounds that don’t always fit neatly into a box. Music from the roots, music from the underground, and music pushing things forward.

We’ll be shining a light on the DJs, artists and sounds that came before us, the people who laid the foundations and helped shape the scenes we have today, alongside those carrying that energy forward and taking it somewhere new.

Because Bristol has always had a special relationship with the dancefloor.

It’s where different worlds meet. Where records get shared, boundaries get blurred, new sounds are discovered and, for a few hours, we’re all moving together.

So come down. Bring your people. Bring your ears. Bring your dancing shoes.
