Roo is a selector dedicated to unearthing and sharing roots-driven dance music. With a particular love for house, broken beat and boogie, you would be pushed to find a mix which is not inspired by her admiration of soulful and deep flavours. Roo’s collection of obscure 90’s and 00’s tracks has captivated audiences across the UK and beyond. She holds a residency on SWU and has played at the likes of We Out Here Festival, Bel Air Festival and Corsica Studios. She’s played Bradley Zero's Rhythm Section parties and has supported Eliza Rose, Chaos in the CBD, Giles Smith, Shy One and Amy Dabbs to name a few. In 2019, Roo met Manchester based Mystique which led to the creation of Shifting Spheres, a collective which platforms women, non binary and trans artists by providing free DJ workshops and production programme.
