Astral Tusk II at The Gallimaufry

A gig held at The Gallimaufry on Thursday 7th June. The event starts at 21:00.

Astral Tusk curates future music, united in improvisation and synthesised sound.

Sublunary

Guitarist and composer Alun Elliott-Williams of Waldo's Gift presents his solo show: a musical programme of cinematic proportions with a colossal sound. Armed with two amps and an arc of pedals, Alun draws on his love for minimal, ambient and classical music as well as his recent love affair with Jonny Greenwood.

Lyrebird

Saxophonist and composer Dave Sanders of Snazzback joins forces with Waldo's Gift to form Lyrebird, fusing influences from electronic music and various folk traditions from around the globe in equal measure. Influences include Portico Quartet, Bonobo and Tigran Hamasyan.

Sketch on Glass

This trio creates continuous beat-driven electronic music drawing influences from Bonobo, Flying Lotus, Nicolas Jaar and J Dilla.
