Tamu Massif + Will Owen at The Gallimaufry
Free before 9pm / £3

A gig held at The Gallimaufry on Tuesday 16th November. The event starts at 20:00.

To celebrate the launch of his new single 'First To Know', Tamu Massif will be bringing his blend of Folk/Indie/Electronica to the Gallimaufry. Featuring support from Wil Owen.

Bristol-based Tamu Massif's music moves fluidly between genres, centred around his distinct vocals, complimented by an array of lush harmonies, melancholy guitar, and samples/ambient sounds. New single 'First To Know', set to be released on 18.11.21 on Chiverin, is the latest and penultimate single before Tamu releases a collection of similarly acoustic-leaning tracks early next year. Expect to hear a variety of songs from across Tamu's album, EP's and recent run of singles. For fans of Bon Iver, Alt-J & James Blake.

Wil Owen will be opening the night with his first Bristol show. Drawing inspiration from wild landscapes and the issues we face in the 21st century, Wil’s music is forever shifting to reflect his mood. Based in Bristol, the singer/songwriter has a deep connection with his Welsh heritage and classic songwriters. Diving into the worlds of Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Neil Young and Paul Simon, Wil’s exploration of the past continues to feed his creative process here in the present.
