FACTOR 50 + BUGGUTS at The Gallimaufry

A gig held at The Gallimaufry on Tomorrow. The event starts at 20:45.

Alt folky ballads and weirdness

FACTOR 50 are a quintet who crash landed in Falmouth, Cornwall in 2019 and are currently based in Bristol. Touching down somewhere amongst the weirdcore indie/folk of the mid to late 90s (Super Furry Animals, PJ Harvey, Sparklehorse.)

A band born around close friendship and tempered amongst various living rooms, basements and bedrooms across the South West. Ready to play Gloucester Road’s greatest bar!

FFO: Sparklehorse, Grandaddy, Black Country New Road, Fidlar

BUGGUTS With a sound oscillating from the soaring guitars of MJ Lenderman and Pedro the Lion to the intimate acoustic balladry of Elliott smith, the Bristol based group combine their influences of emo, slacker rock and alt folk to explore unfurling narratives of catharsis, solitude and existentialism.

As the primary songwriting outlet of frontman, Arthur Willis, bugguts was born out of the unadulterated perseverance and romanticisation of cohesion and craft. After joining forces with key collaborator and bassist Billy Chester in early 2025, with Ben Growcott joining on drums to complete the trio.

Free entry.

Entry requirements: 18+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
