GOOD STUPID SHEEP RELEASE at The Gallimaufry
See event details

A gig held at The Gallimaufry on Wednesday 20th May. The event starts at 21:30.

I'm sure the 20th of May has always been a good day, but this year... it is great. Celebrating a triumphant release from some of the best people in the world! EAB have our heart and they'll have yours if you're not careful.

With Bristol's sweethearts, Trans Siberian Express opening the night.

Good Stupid Sheep in Eve's words:

"In Bridport, The Mummers perform their play across the town dressed up as each of the pubs. Dylan as the tiger, a poet as a tiger. The poet that performs his sacred duty by sharing the truth... The poet acting as god....

Dressed as a tiger?! What an image. Then it all unfolded, all the mythic images, biblical symbols and characters I see and long to follow like a good little sheep, a pawn playing the game. A chess match.

I love this song, I love that a pub conversation with my dad about a silly image turned into one of my favourite band songs. It's a joy to play, I get to take my guitar off mid-song, pick up a shaker and sing my heart out,
it makes me feel like a rock star. I love that we made a wicked music video with the one and only poet-god-tiger and many more important people and places. This is a song for Bridport, for Bristol, for the band and for my inner child longing for a story and a place where it all makes sense."

Free Entry. Arrive early so you don't miss a thing.
