Tolstoys at The Gallimaufry
See event details

A gig held at The Gallimaufry on Wednesday 3rd July. The event starts at 21:00.

Awaken the witch within, and join Tolstoys together in the forever now. They have come from the old country with the mighty Ozembuch in hand. The guitar strums and bass lines hum. The drum beat lights up the dark, voices will fill the heart.

Berlin based 5 piece Tolstoys spread love and joy through every village. Infectious psychedelic grooves and hippie moves hearken back to the great summer of love.
The spirit of Jimi Hendrix meets the vocal stylings and grooves of trip hop and soul, roll that up in an ancient Slavic paper and burn one down with the whole Fam.
Since winning the Debut of the Year 2017 in Slovakia Tolstoys played over 200 live shows.
These included Eurosonic, BUSH, MENT, as well as big local festivals (Pohoda,
Metronome Prague, Grape, Colours of Ostrava). Touring extensively around mainland Europe, they also supported such acts as Tom Odell, Lola Marsh and Easy Life. Their
frontwoman Ela Tolstova was selected for Forbes 30 under 30 and after releasing their 2nd album 'Mirror Me', which was nominated for Album of the Year 2022, they appeared on the biggest screen in Times Square, NY.
Their latest release ‘No Limit To Love’ has been gracing many a Spotify playlist and garnering rave reviews from critics. In 2024 they are on tour through Slovakia, Czechia, Germany and Switzerland and for the first time embark to the UK, performing at the prestigious Glastonbury Festival
