Almatic are a high-energy five piece that effortlessly meld
the Trip Hop traditions of their native city Bristol with Neo Soul,
Breakbeat and edgy boombap Hip Hop.

Fronted by rapper Olly Hobaps, whose formidable skills as
a powerful wordsmith provide the perfect balance to the
hauntingly beautiful tones of singer Katie Riddle, Almatic
create an intelligent and innovative sound with moments of
real intimacy crafted into each performance.
Set over a backdrop of next-level percussion, jazzy keys,
grainy synths, live sampling and infectious sub-bass lines;
we have a band who are truly pushing the envelope,
creating something both captivating and exciting.

All members have honed their craft with other well-known
live outfits, and the band have hit the ground running since
their inception in 2017 – from their debut headlining the
Attic Bar in Bristol, to appearances at major venues and
festivals across the country including Boomtown, Shambala,
Beatherder, Nozstock and Knockengorroch.
