Three Day Millionaires, Gamblers and Gunderson

— The Golden Lion
Punk Rock Friday
price: entry is free

The Golden Lion are excited to bring you some more punk rock in the new year.
If you like big riffs, gruff vocals, nice people and free entry shows then you'd be a proper numpty for not coming to this.

'Named after their hometown’s trawler men of years gone by who would return home after weeks at sea and quickly drain their pockets in the local watering holes, Three Day Millionaires are Hull to the bone.' - Wall Of Sound

'The indomitably that is required for such feats runs in the blood of locals and it is a spirit and temperament that adds rich texture to Three Day Millionaires sound. Quick-to-the-trigger hardcore punk, wound up tight and packed full of adrenaline.' - Already Heard

GAMBLERS (Northwich)
A fairly new band hailing from Northwich, Cheshire but by no means inexperienced. With members of Dear America and Thought Explode these boys create some absolute RIFFS. In the vein of Every Time I Die, The Bronx and Creeper you may have a sore neck in the morning.
The Riot Life and Black Brick Road are two current singles out by the band and a 6 track debut EP will be out around the time of this show. Fingers crossed.

Gunderson are a three piece post/indie/punk rock band from the southwest of England. Formed in 2018, the live demo's of 'Learning to Swim' have received an incredible response, quickly gaining plays on BBC Introducing radio and shows in various cities.

"Beautifully melodic, rough-around the edges punk rock – oozing with character and charm, (...) mesmerisingly well-crafted, as the crunchy guitars and thudding basslines create a inviting atmosphere, alongside the big, open drums, to lay down the perfect soundtrack to Gundersons heart-wrenching stories. The lyrics are incredibly relatable and honest, following this current shift in underground music, more artists are being more open about themselves and are steering away from heavier projects. Gunderson are neck deep in the ocean of self-expression" - On The House Music
"Their live show is a super high energy, emotional roller-coaster" - Black Sail Records
