- MP3 CHAINSAW (Bristol) -
@therealmp3chainsawz
MP3 Chainsaw are one of the Bristol darling bands of all time. Sharing stages with acts as diverse as The Horrors and LICE, amongst others. As well as performing at festivals such as Simple Things and Dot to Dot. ‘The Saw’ have Earned support from publications and tastemakers with, Crack Magazine, Amazing Radio, Clunk and Pitchfork founder Ryan Schreiber being amongst fans.
In the latest season of MP3 Chainsaw, our non GMO heroes trace their roots back to their formative sounds of noise, post punk (still the good kind), shoegaze, punk, metal and a secret sixth thing.
They came, they saw’d but will MP3 conquer?
- GRUBBING (Bristol) -
@grubbing_band
A raw cacophony of drums, bass and violin. Featuring songs about humiliation, technological despair and everything inbetween. Sometimes catchy, sometimes explosive.

@sinewstheband
Sinews are from Oxford Uk, and play unfashionable post-hardcore rock music. The band released their debut EP ‘Reanimated’ in January 2024, and a follow up EP ‘Choreography’ in February 2025, which Nightshift Magazine said ‘stands true to post-hardcore’s original ideals and finds the sweet spot between thoughtful intricacy and musical violence.’ Live the band have shared the stage with the likes of Mclusky, Fucked Up, Thank, The None, Cassels, Objections, and Other Half.
FFO: Fugazi, Drive Like Jehu, Helmet, Modest Mouse, Unwound, Pavement.
- SHREDDING (Manchester) -
@shreddingband
In 1972, the CIA abducted a band, detained them in a black site outside of time and space, and forced them to make a record to save the free world. With access to military-grade equipment the public wouldn’t see for decades and an unholy fascination with the mystical powers of Elvis, they made an album so sick, so twisted and foul, the building had to be torn down and turned into a swamp. No human being could ever again set foot in there after what they’d done. Now, decades later, they’ve escaped their captors and are ready to ruin the lives of you and everyone you love. Bearing a striking resemblance to Mumbles, and now residing in Manchester UK, Shredding are here. And they hate you.
