Shape-shifting Kentucky outfit Quiet Hollers' music connects with listeners around mental illness, grief, and addiction, nodding to a range of eclectic influences across the spectra of alt. country, indie rock, punk, and what they have coined "post americana." Formed by songwriter Shadwick Wilde in the early 2010's, the group has announced work on their fifth LP, Loud Mountains, a painfully self-aware retrospective on a decade of fighting through mental illness and the music industry. In late 2023, Shadwick Wilde released Forever Home, his first solo album in more than 10 years, on SofaBurn Records.
