Bad Losers with The Armadillo Engine

— The Golden Lion
Garage Rock and Freakbeat
price: entry is free

The Bad Loser’s are a Bristol based band formed in 2004 due to a shared love of 60s Garage and Freakbeat. Their recordings are made in a garden shed

The Armadillo Engine are made up of Dean Frances-Hawksley and Andy Suttie (both of Temple Cloud Country Club and long ago Bristol country band Grist), ace drummer Colin 'Poison' Ivey (The Mutoids), and Fin Suttie, the tiny wee son of the other Suttie in the band. They perform everything from gutsy rock covers (Cream and Neil Young to The Jam) to gutsy rock originals, all with something of a punkish twist
