The Modern Room takes its name from those clubs pushing the more modern side of Northern Soul, funkier, rhythmical and more danceable, usually with a room dedicated for the modern taste.
Northern Soul from the mid 70's forwards ,Expect Northern Soul Classics and rarities played in some of the best Modern Rooms around the globe.
Streets of Soul DJ's, local support, and some special guest DJ's playing Modern Soul, Disco, Boogie, and Contemporary soulful sounds.
The Golden Lion is a supercool venue with small stage and nice wooden dancefloor. There is parking in the nearby streets.
