We are super excited about this show. Headliners The August List have just released their stunning second album to rave critical review, so we are hoping for a healthy slice of new tunes in their set. They are a husband and wife two-piece who play backwards country / porch folk with a startling rock ‘n’ roll attitude.

Acoustic guitars, kick drums, harmonicas, found instruments and their voices are deployed with verve and passion on songs concerning the frailty of human existence, the awesomeness of nature and other fun things.

In support is the Tamsin Quin, a Songs of Praise favourite, a bundle of perky, folk-pop tunes, not adverse to tugging a few heartstrings along the way but never losing that glint in her eye. The cheeky minx.

Live music from 4pm. Entry is free but artist donations are encouraged.
