FAROL NEGRO

FAROL NEGRO at The Golden Lion

A gig held at The Golden Lion on Thursday 15th October. The event starts at 20:00.

Hearth and Holler Presents.... FAROL NEGRO

An explosive fusion of western, country, bluegrass, rock, surf, and Brazilian soul, Farol Negro deliver a sound that is both unmistakable and fiercely authentic. Now, for the first time ever, the band is heading to the UK. Formed in 2017, the quartet — Demétrius Coutinho (vocals, guitar, banjo), Alberto Carvalho (vocals, acoustic bass), Diego Alexandre (vocals, guitar), and Lucas Ricardo (drums) — have carved out a reputation across Brazil’s festival circuit, lighting up stages at Schornstein Festival, Rodeo, Caipira Rock, Navalhada, and more. Their international reach expanded with a performance at Muddy Roots 2025 in Argentina, and they’ve toured Brazil as the backing band for American outlaw-country artist Bob Wayne. Farol Negro arrive in the UK ready to bring their high-octane, roots‑driven sound to new audiences.
