Diving Bell seek to marry clean guitars and vocals with more abrasive textures in a genre of music they have arrogantly termed'Garage Prog'. They list their primary influences as The Smiths, Death From Above 1979 and Battles while describing themselves as'reverb guitar ponce and fuzzy bass bastard tapdancing to octoputian polyrhythm.
