There are few artists that can truly encapsulate the essence and true range of Americana like Muscle Shoals artist Hannah Aldridge, whose musical pedigree precedes her and speaks for itself.
Hannah Aldridge is the daughter of Alabama Music Hall of Famer Walt Aldridge, who is one of the most prolific songwriters of the modern musical era. With sounds ranging from blues in the Mississippi Delta to the dusty, dixieland jazz sounds from New Orleans, the musical stylings of Muscle Shoals on up to the primitive roots of American Country music, Hannah Aldridge leaves no inspiration or influence untapped.
Jetbone - Rock n Roll is better than a permanent job. – a classic statement by Kal P Dal, a legendary Swedish punk/rock n roll star from the Seventies, way before the boys in Jetbone were even born. For six years Jetbone tried to combine touring with studies and work, before realizing that Kal P Dal was absolutely right. They all quit their day time jobs, gave up appartments, said goodbye to their girlfriends and agreed to do 200 gigs in 2017. While recording their forthcoming third album.
Jetbone was formed by a bunch of teenagers in the town of Sundsvall in the north of Sweden. Initiallty they played a kind of garage rock/punk, but while digging deep in their father’s record collections and listening to Seventies rock bands, they soon devloped their own mix of classic rock, funk, soul and southern rock. The first, self titled album was released in 2012 and four years later they released the acclaimed album ”Magical Ride”, a collection of 11 brilliant songs, a classic yet contemporary sound and an irresistable level of energy.
