December at The Green Man celebrates some of the best authentic, original songwriting through Ryan McMurtry & Harvey Clay.

Belfast-born folk songwriter brings dreamy fingerstyle guitar wrapped in soft, poetic lyrics. Ryan's solo work has been supported by BBC Introducing, CLUNK Magazine and others in the past year.

Brandishing his mandolin and a few odd machines, Harvey Clay serves a collection of alternative folk songs that blends elements of post-rock and lo-fi sonics coloured with the aesthetics of fantasy.
Delicate melodies hover over whimsical chords, this troubadour is both melancholic and uplifting.

As always, our host Max Harrison will kick off the afternoon with a short set before passing it onto our featured acts.
