on Friday 24th November. The event starts at 21:00.
This week Alex Taylor is joined by the amazing
Anders Olinder on keys!
Anders is one of the finest musicians in Bristol, a stalwart of the jazz and soul scenes, originally from Sweden, now working as a studio and live musician in the UK.
He has worked with Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple),
PeeWee Ellis (James Brown's Band), Peter Gabriel,
Amy Winehouse, Elliott Randall (Steely Dan, Sarah Jane Morris, The Communards) and Courtney Pine.
This is not to be missed!
Singer songwriter and multi-instrumental loop pedal artist, compared by reviewers to Bill Withers, John Martyn and Jeff Buckley, Alex Taylor is one of the shining lights of the acoustic scene and a troubadour of world-class standing.
Splicing elements of soul, nu-folk and electronica, with original and dynamic use of guitar, loop pedal and effects.
Notching up hundreds of gigs, including Cambridge Folk and Cheltenham Jazz Festivals, and support slots for Jack Savoretti, Roachford and Michael Kiwanuka.
His critically acclaimed debut album features performances from members of The Invisible, Newton Faulkner’s band, Portishead & Massive Attack.
New Album set for later this year...

“Echoes of Bill Withers' jazzy folky soul”– Q Magazine
“Dynamic solo shows, using pedals and loops to create a wall of sound”– Maverick Magazine ★★★★
