Jazz At The Greenbank - Nigel Price Organ Trio at The Greenbank, Easton, BS5 6DP
// Tickets - Choose your price £9 / £12 / £15 //

A gig on Friday 14th March. The event starts at 19:30.

We welcome Nigel Price and his fabulous Organ Trio for an unforgettable night at The Greenbank.

The Nigel Price Organ Trio, nominated for the 2021 Parliamentary Jazz Award for ‘Best ensemble’ (they won in 2010) and winners of the 2016 British Jazz Award for ‘Best Small Group’ will be playing selections from their vast back catalogue as well as the recently released and critically acclaimed album ‘That’s it. Right there.’, and ‘Live ‘23’. Nigel is known for his clear, no nonsense, driving approach to jazz guitar and has steadily become one of the UK’s foremost exponents of the instrument. Ross Stanley is not only one of the greatest ever UK musicians, he also plays a real B3 Hammond Organ complete with 2 Leslie speakers. Joel Barford is the man of the moment and has been causing a stir across the UK and further afield with his incredible technical agility and deep groove (other recent collaborations include Trish Clowes and Alfie Boe). Together they form perhaps the most hard hitting, dynamic and exciting jazz groups on the scene today.

Line Up:
Nigel Price – Guitar
Ross Stanley - Hammond Organ
Joel Barford – Drums

“For me, this is how jazz should be; communicative and inclusive. Jazz performed

this way feels like a gift, a ‘here, this is for you’ scenario.” London Jazz News

Jazz at The Greenbank curates the best of British Jazz, in a warm friendly pub environment - our ticketing system tries to ensure a balance of supporting artists as much as possible, whilst providing accessibility to audiences of all backgrounds who can’t afford art centre and concert hall ticket prices. To make this happen, we have a dynamic, flexible pricing system where you can choose your ticket price of £9, £12, or £15 depending on what you are able/willing to pay. There is NO tiered seating system, so every ticket price provides the same seat options and a level playing field! The spirit of this system means the higher cost tickets help to subsidise the lower cost tickets, allowing better accessibility for everyone whilst ensuring we can bring the best quality musicians to your doorstep!
